Moso [Mind off. Skills on.]
Finding beauty in the mental journey. By releasing judgement, anxiety, fear of failure…true potential is obtained. Play like a kid, free of judgement simply knowing you can shoot again. Not a brand, a mentality.
Step 1:
The first skill to learn is the art of letting go of the human inclination to judge ourselves and our performance as either good or bad.
(NONJUDGMENTAL) Letting go of judgments does not mean ignoring errors. It simply means seeing events as they are and not adding anything to them. The first step is to see your shots as they are. As soon as a shot is seen clearly and accepted as it is, a natural and speedy process of change begins.
Step 2: Yin-Yoga
Yin Yoga holds major benefits for the mind. You hold poses longer making your muscles tighten for a long period of time, causing your self 1 to come out. By calming your self 1 and using breathing techniques and pushing through the tension in those muscles, you mastered your self 1.
Step 3: Meditating
By getting into a meditative state you are able to calm your ego and what’s left is your natural learning process.
Step 4: Calm music
Hype music tends to build your “ego” instead of your confidence. Both are similar so at first you feel ready for the game, then to realize it made your thinking worse. By meditating, and listening to calmer music before, your natural learning process is present.
Step 5: End the compare game
Many struggle in the mind because they have a constant urge to compare. With high social media standards, we have created a bubble of perfection everyone is trying to work towards when really we are working towards something that’s unobtainable.
Step 6: Trust The Process
As long as you do everything you can do with the 24 hours your given with each day, let the story unfold. Trust the process and realize that your story is different from everyone else.
